Toonmix (stage play)

Almost twelve years ago, I took acting class as a part of traditional animation training. Toward the end of the training we had to perform a stage play. Hence the trainees were split into five groups.

I was the leader of the group. Our team was named 'Toonmix'. As we were animation students, we thought our team's name should have something related to cartoon.

So we took the 'toon' out of cartoon.

It was really a wonderful team of eight members. All of them were really creative and came out with a theme related to saving of nature. We were successful in conveying the messages essential for environment protection.

The play was related to the happenings among a group of tribal people. We arranged the stage to look like a forest and I acted as the chief of the tribal people. Everyone appreciated our team for our performance.
