Nattisci (team trivia/basketball)

Our team name originated from our college days. We were all a bunch of fairly nerdy guys with Natural Science majors. We decided one year to form an inter mural basketball team.

We attempted to come up with several names most of them terribly obnoxious or something we couldn't have put on a shirt.

Finally, our friend Lynne said why not use our major area. One of the girls we hung around with often abbreviated Poli-sci whenever she decided to talk about her major so we thought that would make Natural Science not be such as mouthful.

So that is how we became Nattisci.

We eventually gave up basketball but the name lived on mostly now for team trivia and the occasional rumblings about a hockey league.
